Do Not Sell My Information

California law requires a business to give you a way to stop it selling or sharing your personal information. This page is that way, and it also explains why in our case there is very little to stop.

In short

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for money. We do not have a list of customers to trade, and we never have. If you send us an enquiry, the information in it is used to answer you, to arrange finance or delivery if you ask, and to keep the records of a sale. That is all.

What "sale" and "sharing" mean

Under the CCPA and CPRA, "sale" means handing personal information to another business for money or something else of value. "Sharing" is wider: it includes passing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioural advertising — that is, so that advertisements follow you from one site to another.

Neither of those describes what we do with an enquiry. We do not sell it and we do not pass it to anyone for their own advertising.

The one advertising case

There is a single case where an advertising cookie can be involved. If we are running advertisements on Facebook or Instagram, the Meta pixel is present on this site, and it may set the _fbp and_fbc cookies so that an advertisement can be measured or matched to a visit. When we are not running advertising, the pixel is not present at all. The Cookie Policy describes both cookies in detail.

How to opt out

• Call us or send the form. Use the number or the form on the contact page and tell us you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We will record it and, if we hold anything about you, act on it.
• Block the cookies yourself. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser, or browsing in a private window, prevents the advertising cookies from being set in the first place.
• Use Meta's own controls. Meta provides advertising preferences in its own account settings for people who are logged in.

You do not need to give a reason, and opting out costs nothing.

Your other California rights

You also have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to delete it, and to ask us to correct it. All of these are described, with the details of how to make a request and how long we take to answer, in the Privacy Policy. We will not treat you differently — no higher price, no refusal to sell you a car — because you exercised any of these rights.

Requests from an authorised agent

Someone else can make a request on your behalf, including an agent registered with the California Secretary of State. To protect you, we will ask for written permission signed by you, and we may contact you directly to confirm that the request is genuinely yours before we act on it. We may refuse a request from an agent who cannot show that authority.

Anyone under 18

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18 — we would have none to sell. If you believe a young person has sent us information, call us and we will delete it.
